Nuit Blanche: Public screening of students project

Screening of student works FAMU Prague & HGB Leipzig. This special evening program offers a unique insight into the work of students from art schools through screenings of their selected projects. The nuit blanche format refers both to the glow of the projected image and to the audience immersed in the visual presentations of a young generation of artists.
During the evening, each student will present their project prepared for the exhibition Beyond Language in the public space at Můstek. The program features the Studio of Documentary Strategies (Markéta Kinterová and Veronika Daňhelová) at FAMU – the Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, and the Studio of Photography and Media (Ines Schaber and Susanne Keichel) at HGB – Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst, Leipzig.
Studio of Documentary Strategies, FAMU
Led by Markéta Kinterová and Veronika Daňhelová, the studio focuses on documentary as a form of artistic research and as a socially engaged visual practice. Students develop projects that critically respond to current issues and explore the possibilities of representation in contemporary art. Emphasis is placed on developing new visual strategies, on experimentation, and on the ability to situate one’s own work within broader cultural and social contexts—from exhibitions and artist publications to online formats and projects in public space.
Class of Photography and Media, HGB Leipzig
Led by Ines Schaber and Susanne Keichel, the class focuses on critically examining how images shape contemporary culture and society. Students develop their own artistic practice while engaging with key concepts related to images—from documentary and representation to performativity and forensic perspectives. Emphasis is placed on experimentation across media and on the ability to situate individual work within broader historical, cultural, and political contexts.
Supported by the Czech-German Future Fund.

Reveries For Fragile Beasts
We are pleased to invite you to the opening of Reveries For Fragile Beasts, featuring works by Apian and Sarah Dubná.

Tamara Moyzes & Shlomi Yaffe – GOLEMET (Epigenetika)
The exhibition GOLEMET by Tamara Moyzes and Shlomi Yaffe will open at the Fotograf Zone Gallery on Tuesday, April 21 at 6 PM, as part of the Video Room program. The opening will take place concurrently with the exhibition Reveries For Fragile Beasts. The exhibition Golemet presents an artistic and conceptual framework that understands inherited trauma not as a metaphor, but as a lived, embodied reality. Drawing on contemporary research in epigenetics and trauma studies, the project approaches memory as something carried in the body—activated in moments of rupture, threat, and renewed exclusion.

Reproduction as an object we come into physical contact with. Touch as a mode of perception that returns the image to our hands.
